A Shift Manager is responsible for working well within the restaurant team, focusing on the timely completion of assigned shift duties and operate with a high level of commitment to safety and excellent customer service.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:\n\nAssist with shift scheduling.\n\nAssist in training, coaching and development of newly hired team members.\n\nUnderstand and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures.\n\nMaintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the C.G. Hospitality Group Inc. Operations Manual.\n\nEnsure all required tasks that need to be completed are done on time for our guests.\n\nEnsure that employee morale on their shift remains high and the team is developing great guest service.\n\nEnsure team members adhere to meal and break periods.\n\nEnsure all safety standards are being followed.\n\nCommunicate all issues with the store manager\n\nPerform light paperwork duties as assigned.\n\nPosition Requirements\nRequirements:\n\nMust be able to work various shifts per week and weekends.\n\nAbility to promote a positive, productive, friendly and upbeat team spirit.\n\nAbility to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.\n\nMust be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed\n\nQualifications:\n\nExperience in a restaurant environment\n\nMust have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent\n\nMust have reliable transportation\n\nMust have a valid drivers’ license, good driving records, and automobile insurance\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nPosition requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.\n\nMust have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.\n\nDuties, Responsibilities, and/or Activities may change at any time, with or without notice.\n\nCG Hospitality Group, Inc. will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act (AB 1008)\n\nEOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
