Mon - Thurs 8 PM- 6:30 AM\nJob Title: Assembly Operator\nDepartment: Production\nReports To: Production Manager\nSummary:\nWorking to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimizing efficiency and maintaining operational excellence. Perform many operations within the process with some supervision.\nQualifications and Experience Levels:\nPrevious manufacturing experience\nExperience working with assemblies\nExperience working to production targets\nCandidates should possess:\nManufacturing Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Safety Management, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Judgment, Decision Making\nGeneral Responsibilities:\nProduces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.\nPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.\nPositions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.\nAssembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.\nVerifies specifications by measuring completed component.\nKeeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\nConserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.\nDocuments actions by completing production and quality forms.\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nMiscellaneous Duties:\nMonitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks\nAdjust machine controls whilst monitoring the production process and outputs\nCarry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery\nReport equipment faults to maintenance staff\nBuild up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products\nStack goods appropriately\nContribute to continuous improvement activities\nOther duties as assigned\nSelf-Management:\nWork in a safe manner, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards\nAchievement Focused\nMakes productive contributions\nTeam player with a positive effect on the mood\nConsistently manages the task\nShows moral courage, openness and honesty and has a collaborative approach when dealing with others\nSelf-motivated and hardworking\nAdaptable and flexible with a positive professional attitude\nSkills and Attributes:\nAbility to work across multiple areas of the assembly process\nAble to work as part of a team\nAble to work on own initiative when necessary\nAble to work in a safe manner\nAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work to standards\nAble to work to within tight cycles/deadlines and with minimum supervision\nAbility to learn quickly\nGood Manual dexterity\nGood understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality\nPhysical Demand:\nThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
