Line Cook PT
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality meal preparation while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and dicing using proper knife skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down stations.
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to quality meal preparation.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
