The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvides Leadership to the operations control center\n\nDevelops staff for peak performance through consistent orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, communicating job expectations, enforcing policy and procedure, and disciplining employees\n\nProvides hands-on supervision of the Phoenix Operations Control Center Supervisors, Controllers, and Data Collection team.\n\nDevelops and consistently maintains policies and procedures\n\nMaintains staffing levels to ensure adequate telephone coverage – Reviews staffing on a consistent basis to ensure control center is optimally staffed\n\nReviews and revises staff performance requirements\n\nAnalyzes operational data and makes recommendations to senior leadership to streamline processes\n\nReviews and conducts performance evaluations for direct reports\n\nAssists client with various projects and requests.\n\nMaintains and improves operations through innovation, developing staff, and addressing deficiencies\n\nAccomplishes call center objectives by enforcing policies and procedures\n\nEnsure daily metrics are met\n\nEnsures staff are performance managed if not meeting performance standards\n\nIdentifies training opportunities and deficiencies and ensure staff is properly trained\n\nManages by periodically walking around.Be visible to answer questions and handle escalated calls & issues above the level of Supervisors\n\nAttends meetings & conference calls with client\n\nSupplies operational reports per leadership request\n\nAddresses employee issues with professionalism and confidentiality\n\nCollaborate and partner with transit locations including operations, maintenance, dispatch and safety teams to address service issues\n\nPrioritizes and delegates work\n\nAll other duties as assigned by senior leadership\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree or higher\n\n5 yr. minimum experience managing a call center environment or comparable experiance\n\nAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays\n\nMust have a working knowledge of FTA rules and regulations\n\nExcellent written, verbal and communication skills\n\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills\n\nMS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or similar database\n\nExperience with analyzing historical data and developing reports\n\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, managers, supervisors, Subordinates, and the transit business partners\n\nSubject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
