This is a great career opportunity in an ideal location!\n\nThe Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordinating of employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds.\n\nAdditional responsibilities include but aren't limited to:\n\nDirects employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs and ground maintenance.\nObtains bids for work from outside contractors. Assembles, analyzes and submits bids to superiors for action.\nOrders and receives supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors.\nCoordinates work performed by outside vendors and inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.\nInspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.\nEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.\nSuggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.\nAssists Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget.\nParticipates in after hours and emergency coverage as assigned by supervisor.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nMust have 2+ years experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.\nPrefer Yardi experience\nMust have experience in all trades\nMust have excellent written, communication and computer skills\nPast supervisory experience a must\nCurrent driver's license and auto insurance required.\nAble to work weekends and overtime as job requires.\n\nSalary range is $28.00/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual.
