The Software Developer will build, and support software products used by the Department of Transportation and the public at large to help ensure the safety of drivers and passengers on public roadways.\nResponsibilities:\nReceive tasks and requirements details from program manager. Analyze the scope of work and provide estimated development timelines.\nFollow agile sprint-based development schedule. Unit test modules prior to handing them off to the Test Team. Assist the Test Team with load/performance/throughput testing where required.\nPeer reviews the work of colleagues and provides feedback for improvement. Accept constructive feedback from colleagues and grow your skillset on the job.\nTake notes during meetings, ask questions to obtain clarifications where needed. Document design decisions and technical details.\nMaintain source code version control in GitHub.\nWork independently if needed.
