As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling and packaging various materials and components. You will utilize your mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment and ensure that our production processes run smoothly. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. We offer:\r\n5 Days of PTO\r\n6 Paid Holidays\r\nUp to 50% of health insurance premiums paid by Impact\r\nAccess to a retirement plan, financial fitness, and employee savings programs\r\n3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday Hours: 11pm - 7am\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\nProficiently switch between various Assembler II roles as needed.\r\nRetrieve and prepare packing materials according to the Bill of Material.\r\nAssemble boxes/cartons and apply correct labeling.\r\nInspect, count, and pack products into boxes/cartons following standard work instructions.\r\nPerform intermediate troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and resolve minor jams.\r\nAssist with changeovers, preventative maintenance, and cleaning tasks.\r\nRework components as directed by supervision.\r\nMove finished goods to the staging area.\r\nMaintain safety standards and operate equipment safely.\r\nDocument production rates and maintain records on quality audits and downtime.\r\nUphold cleanliness and organization in the work area using 5S methodology.\r\nFollow standard work procedures to ensure product quality.\r\nAdapt to various work areas as per production schedules.\r\nComplete other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.\r\nQualifications:\r\nEducation: High school diploma or GED preferred.\r\nExperience: 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.\r\nSkills:\r\nBasic reading, writing, and math skills in English.\r\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.\r\nCNC experience is a plus.\r\nManual dexterity for assembly tasks.\r\nEOE.
