Payrate: $110.00 - $113.00/hr. Summary: Company is seeking an experienced healthcare compliance officer and digital health attorney to join the Corporate Compliance & Ethics team. This critical role involves leading and managing Company's Healthcare Compliance Program and providing comprehensive digital health legal support and regulatory compliance counseling. The focus areas include healthcare fraud and abuse, FDA medical device compliance, and related international regulatory issues for medical devices. ResponsibilitiesOversee, monitor, and maintain the implementation and effectiveness of the Healthcare Compliance Program, policies, and procedures.Serve as Chair of the Healthcare Compliance Committee, scheduling meetings, developing agendas, ensuring proper documentation, and advising on membership and charter development.Report program status and healthcare compliance risks to leadership, including supporting CCO reporting to the board.Review new or revised business arrangements to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.Coordinate internal and external compliance reviews and audits, develop and deliver training and education.Manage communication channels by responding to employee inquiries and ensuring compliance concerns are documented and acted upon.Provide support during investigations into compliance incidents, assisting with corrective action plans and prevention measures.Provide legal support to product, operational, and sales teams focused on health initiatives.Develop and scale robust compliance resources and infrastructure to ensure global adherence to health regulatory requirements. Qualifications10-15 years of combined legal and healthcare compliance experience.J.D. required; active bar membership.Minimum 7-10 years focused on healthcare regulatory/compliance work. Desired SkillsHealthcare Fraud & Abuse Law Expertise - Deep knowledge of the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, and federal healthcare program compliance.Healthcare Compliance Program Management - Demonstrated ability to build, operationalize, and maintain a compliance program.FDA Medical Device Regulatory Compliance - Experience with FDA's regulatory framework for medical devices/digital health products.International medical device regulatory experience (EU MDR, international jurisdictions).Experience with digital health / health-tech product counseling.Experience chairing compliance committees or cross-functional governance bodies.Background advising on consumer and commercial health products at scale.Familiarity with compliance program effectiveness assessments (DOJ guidance).Experience with investigations and corrective action plans. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $110.00 - $113.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
