You can volunteer once your application is approved.Hearts for Homes is a Christian outreach providing hope and dignity through home rehabilitation and maintenance, helping low-income seniors aged 60 and over to live in safe, comfortable, and functional homes as they age in place.How can volunteers help?Volunteers are essential to Hearts for Homes, providing thousands of hours of direct, hands-on service to seniors through our Home Repair and Case Management Programs. If you feel called to help seniors in Denton County, please complete our online application.Once your application is submitted, we will connect with you to start volunteering!What can volunteers do during a shift?Provide lawn-mowing services for homeowners during grass-cutting season according to your schedule. If you have your own lawn equipment and can travel, we would love to match you with a senior to whom you can commit to regularly maintaining their lawn.
