Technical Sales Representative – Industrial West Coast HammerTek Corporation is a leading global supplier of specialty pneumatic conveying products. We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Technical Sales Representative – Industrial West Coast to join our growing sales team. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the West Coast territory (CA,CO,MT,WY,NM,UT,ID,WA,OR,NV,AZ,AK,HI) by building strong customer relationships, responding to inbound inquiries, and actively pursuing new business opportunities. This is a field-based position that combines technical application knowledge with proactive sales execution. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Interpret customer's inquiries for HammerTek Smart Elbow products, generate price, and lead time quotations accordingly. Develop and manage customer relationships by telephone, email, and on-site visits. Proactively prospect, cold call, and reach out to new potential customers to introduce the HammerTek Smart Elbow products. Frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet with existing clients and to discover new potential customers. Document and communicate all aspects of their inbound and outbound communications in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Obtain technical information and documentation from clients on operating parameters relevant to the selection of our products. Maintain quote log and application data sheets under the direction of the Sales Manager. Match and cross-check purchase orders against quotes ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction. Provide Sales Manager with market analyses and other data for focused marketing activities. Provide input to internal marketing team to allow them to develop & create literature, website content, social media marketing, newsletters, & other advertising materials specific to the assigned territory. Education and experience: High School diploma required; A 2-year degree in a technical field is a plus. 2-5 years of work experience in outside B2B sales. Skills/competencies: Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite to modify simple Excel spreadsheets, draft proposals, and produce other general business correspondence using Word. Demonstrated communication, teamwork and organization skills. Language skills: Ability to interpret general business documents such as purchase orders, contracts, approval drawings, specifications, office procedures, parts lists and price lists. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in person and on the phone with vendors, customers and colleagues. Spanish bilingual capability would be a bonus. Reasoning ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form and work independently. Ability to solve practical problems and resolve conflicts.
