This candidate plays a key role in certification of all 5G Core network systems and report issues to development teams and vendors. The candidate must have full understanding of 3GPP standards, 5G call flows and good hands on experience in troubleshooting core subsystem elements like NR-RAN, AMF, PCF, SMF, CHF, AUSF, UDM, UDR, NRF UPF, CBRS, Mediation platforms etc.. The candidate must also have knowledge in Network Routers, Switches, Gateways, Firewalls, Docker containers and Kubernetes. Candidate also collaborates with Vendors, internal Network Architects and Product Development teams as required. The candidate primarily works in lab environment during testing, recreating issues and troubleshooting lab and field reported tickets.\r\nEssential Functions of the Position:\r\nSupporting 5G gNB, Smallcell functional and troubleshooting.\r\nMust have excellent problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills of 5G Core Network Architecture and interfaces and troubleshooting skills in 5G Core Interfaces (N1, N2, N3, N4, N6, N8, N10, N12…) 5G RAN components as RRU, DU/CU for vRAN configuration\r\nThorough understanding & Hands-on experience in Core Network Elements AMF, UPF, AUSF/ AAA, UDM, NSF.\r\nKnowledge in CBRS and FFC requirements (3.5GHz).\r\nThrough knowledge in virtualization platforms, Docker containers and Kubernetes.\r\nActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience\r\nProvides support for escalated support across organizations\r\nWorks with third party vendors for resolution or gets support as needed. Coaches less experienced staff\r\nAdhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable\r\nKnow, understand and follow company policy.
