Our team is growing, and we are looking for a motivated structural engineer to join us and take on increasing responsibility in managing projects and delivering excellence.\n\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 10-plus years of experience looking for a new challenge. This individual will be responsible for managing 3-5 projects simultaneously while actively participating in the production and/or review of engineering deliverables, with a focus on the assessment and repair of existing structures.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage multiple projects from assessment to repair completion, including teams of engineers, drafters, and technicians, while ensuring technical excellence and adherence to schedule and budget.\n\nEvaluate existing structures for deterioration, damage, and compliance with current codes.\n\nDesign and analyze structural repairs and retrofits using ACI design codes and other relevant industry standards.\n\nCollaborate closely with construction teams to integrate structural repair solutions effectively.\n\nReview and produce engineering drawings, calculations, and reports focused on structural repair.\n\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.\n\nPerform site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and oversee repair implementations.\n\nMentor junior engineers.\n\nPosition Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.\n\n10-plus years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on the assessment and repair of existing structures preferred.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\n\nExtensive experience in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA, or equivalent).\n\nExtensive experience applying ACI design codes for structural repair and rehabilitation.\n\nExtensive experience working with construction teams and understanding of constructability considerations.\n\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to collaborative projects.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nMaster's or PhD degree in civil or structural engineering\n\nStructural Engineer (SE) license\n\nCertified Project Management Professional (PMP)\n\nExperience working on structural steel analysis, including some bolted and welded connection designs.\n\nActive in professional organizations, such as ASCE, ACI, AMPP, SEI, ICRI\n\nOur ideal candidate is a positively focused professional with a desire to grow and be a technical resource in civil/structural engineering.
