{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e49a59612464007ee0d850be","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e49a59612464007ee0d850be","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e49a59612464007ee0d850be","title":"Project Manager","description":"About The Role\r\nWe are looking to strengthen our Delivery team with a Project Manager based at Bristol with hybrid working available.\r\nYou will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and your role will be to manage the design, construction, commissioning and putting to work of contracts to ensure they are completed in the most efficient manner to the specification, within the time required and within the tender estimate without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction.\r\nKey responsibilities will include\r\nPromote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted work force.\r\nEnsuring that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process, i.e from tender handover to final completion.\r\nMaintain good client relationships at all levels.\r\nMaintain the company's reputation on a project by ensuring good relationships are maintained with joint venture partners and suppliers.\r\nEnsuring that sufficient trained personnel are available for the project and that they are aware of their individual responsibilities.\r\nPlanning projects, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and then monitoring and controlling the delivery of projects\r\nEnsuring that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place and approved prior to commencement of activities.\r\nEnsuring at contract completion that all records referred to in the PEP are complete and available.\r\nEnsuring that all site non-conformities are reported and approximate costs identified.\r\nEnsure all commercial aspects of the project are managed in a timely and proactive way giving accurate forecast and estimates.\r\nHave detailed working knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception through to end user acceptance.\r\nEnsure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/ associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.\r\nUndertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role\r\nIn all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department and MWH Treatment as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.\r\nUnderstanding and implementing the quality, safety and environmental policies and targets.\r\nBeing aware of the need to satisfy customer requirements with the aim of enhancing the customers' perception and satisfaction.\r\nMaintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering water and waste water design and build projects.\r\nAbout You\r\nEssential\r\nProject Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.\r\nDegree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related discipline.\r\nProject Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.\r\nExcellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients, stakeholders, and end users.\r\nMust be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.\r\nExperience in project delivery.\r\nStrategic, operational, technical and management skills.\r\nKnowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE, with ability to negotiate and administer.\r\nAbility to present at MWHT Governance Reviews in a leading capacity.\r\nRisk & Opportunity Management experience.\r\nWorking knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.\r\nDesirable\r\nExperience in water and waste water treatment plants.\r\nChartered with and engineering, commercial, or construction institution.\r\nNEC Project Manager Accreditation.\r\nTechnical Competencies: Advanced\r\nContract Management\r\nGovernance\r\nBudgeting and cost control\r\nRisk, Opportunities and issue management\r\nProject Planning (schedule)\r\nDigital Delivery\r\nProcurement (negotiations and management)\r\nSolutions development (pre-construction / design development)\r\nClient, stakeholder and conflict management\r\nResource management\r\nChange management\r\nQuality management\r\nBehavioural competencies: Advanced\r\nCommunication\r\nCollaboration\r\nClient Focus\r\nStriving for Results\r\nIntegrity, Trust and Respect\r\nCoaching and Providing Feedback\r\nLeadership\r\nAbout Us\r\nMWH Treatment is an integrated design and build provider working in the water sector.
