HVAC Commercial Install Apprentice/Helper

Complete installation of new heating and cooling systems, and relocation of existing systems. Operate company vehicle as neededWork well with customers, co-workers and other sub-contractorsFollow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely mannerInstallation of ductwork in a neat & professional mannerKeep job site and company vehicle clean and organizedAttend continued professional HVAC training as scheduled by managementMaintain professional appearance and attitude at all timesMaintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accuratelyEffectively communicate with co-workers and other sub-contractorsAdhere to company safety rules and regulationsRegular use of personal protective equipmentCome to work ready to work with proper tools and attireWillingness to invest time in training seminars and classesRequirementsValid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insuranceDesire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job trainingAbility to work well independently or as a teamAbility to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practiceAbility to work out of town when necessaryAbility to work outside in a wide range of temperaturesMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screenMust be able to work off ladders & liftsMinimum High School diploma, GED or equivalentPrevious HVAC experience in a commercial application is preferredEnrollment in apprenticeship program or technical/trade school is preferredPrevious experience reading blue prints is preferredBasic written and verbal English language communication skills
