This company specializing in CNC machining and complex aerospace assemblies for the aviation and defense industries.\n\nWhat Is Offered:\nHealth Benefits: 50% insurance premiums paid by company\nPay rate: $33.00/hr $42.00/hr\nSchedule: 6:30am-4:30pm 4x10s M-Th or Tu-Fri\nPrimary Function:\nThe Programmer / Lathe Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up, and supporting the operation of CNC mills and lathes to ensure efficient, high-quality part production from start to finish.\n\nEssential Job Functions - Responsibilities:\nProgram CNC mills and lathes using MasterCam 2024\nProgram effectively and accurately.\nTroubleshoot problems that may arise during setup.\nSetup machines and perform first article inspections.\nTie in with machine operators as needed.\nBe involved at the estimating level to determine setup and operating times.\nAccurately track time to jobs.\nDesign and manufacture workholding for jobs.\nLift up to 35 lbs and perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.\nFollow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.\n\nEducation and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)\n5 years minimum programming in MasterCam.\nProficient blueprint reading and math skills.\nCNC machining experience in all types of material.\nMachining fundamentals. Understand speeds and feeds for all types of materials. 5 years minimum experience.\nBackground and drug screen - pass a post-offer background verification and drug screen.\n\nWork Environment\nShop: Standard machine shop environment with various types of machinery. Appropriate safety garments (PPE) must be worn. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions.
