Hostess/Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage reservations, greet customers, and handle transactions efficiently while providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements. Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize guest flow. Operate the Aloha POS system to process orders and transactions accurately. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area. Assist in coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Uphold high standards of guest relations and customer service at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on guest relations. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
