This role will drive infrastructure-as-code practices, container orchestration, and platform security operations including patch and vulnerability management in support of federal mission requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to support application and infrastructure deployment\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Ansible, and related tooling\nArchitect and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments\nDeploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads on Amazon EKS\nAutomate repetitive operational tasks to improve deployment speed, reliability, and consistency\nManage patch management processes across infrastructure and application environments\nSupport vulnerability management activities, including scanning, remediation tracking, and reporting\nCollaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to align DevOps practices with federal security and compliance requirements (NIST, FISMA)\nMonitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure, pipeline, and deployment issues\nPartner with Program Management and technical leads to support contract deliverables and documentation\nQualifications and Skills:\n\n6–10 years of experience in DevOps engineering with strong cloud infrastructure background\nHands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development\nStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Ansible)\nProficiency across both AWS and Azure cloud platforms\nExperience deploying and managing containerized applications on EKS\nExperience with patch management and vulnerability management processes and tooling\nStrong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)\nAbility to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment\nU.S. Citizenship (per contract requirements)\nDesired Skills and Competencies:\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate\nPrior experience supporting federal government contracts\nFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable, Nessus, or similar)\nExperience with container security best practices\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nEmployment for this position is contingent upon the candidate being a United States citizen and having the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
