The ideal candidate is an early-career engineer with an interest in automation and a willingness to work hands-on across software, industrial controls, networking, and system integration. This role is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with automated equipment, and seeing engineering solutions progress from installation through successful customer operation.ResponsibilitiesSupport the installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of automated solutions at customer facilitiesExecute commissioning procedures and verify the functionality of automated equipment, controls, software applications, and networked devicesPerform system integration testing across automated solutions, conveyors, PLCs, HMIs, warehouse control or execution systems, scanners, and related equipmentTroubleshoot system issues by analyzing equipment behavior, alarms, software functionality, network communications, system logs, and operational sequencesWork with Controls, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and other engineering teams to identify root causes and resolve system integration issuesVerify equipment functionality, system sequences, interlocks, material flow, and overall system performance againstExecute commissioning plans, test procedures, checklists, and system validation activitiesDocument test results, issues, resolutions, system changes, and outstanding commissioning activities clearly and accuratelyAssist with system tuning, performance optimization, and reliability improvements during commissioningProvide feedback to engineering teams regarding recurring issues, system behavior, and opportunities for product or process improvementCoordinate onsite activities with customers, technicians, contractors, project managers, and engineering teamsSupport customer training and technical handoff as systems transition into production operationIdentify potential safety, reliability, or operational concerns and communicate them to the appropriate engineering and project teamsFollow established safety procedures, engineering standards, and commissioning processes while working in industrial environmentsTravel extensively to customer and project locations and work onsite for extended commissioning periodsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, mechatronics or a related engineering discipline1–3 years of engineering, automation, controls, manufacturing, systems integration, commissioning, or related experience;
