The ideal candidate should be capable of independently owning features end-to-end, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.\n\nThe role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOwn and deliver features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.\n\nCollaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.\n\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable applications.\n\nBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.\n\nDevelop and maintain user interfaces using React.\n\nParticipate in technical design discussions and provide implementation recommendations.\n\nEnsure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.\n\nSupport production releases and troubleshoot issues when required.\n\nCommunicate progress, risks, and technical solutions effectively with stakeholders.\n\nRequired Skills (Primary – 70%):\n\nStrong hands-on experience in Java\n\nExpertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs\n\nExperience with distributed systems and enterprise application development\n\nStrong understanding of software design principles and development best practices\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery methodologies\n\nSecondary Skills (30%):\n\nWorking knowledge of React\n\nExperience building and maintaining modern web applications\n\nFamiliarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS\n\nNice to Have:\n\nArchitecture and solution design experience\n\nExperience defining application/repository structures and technical standards\n\nInsurance domain experience\n\nCloud platform experience (AWS) is a plus\n\nDesired Candidate Profile:\n\n6+ years of professional software development experience\n\nStrong hands-on engineering background with the ability to contribute to coding activities\n\nAbility to independently own features and drive them to production\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with Product Owners and stakeholders\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams\n\nThe pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $28.89/hour - $45.15/hour.
