The Shift Leader is expected to step into the Assistant Manager role in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities of operating the store while adhering to the company operating policies.\n\nGenerally, the Shift Leader will work one to two weekends per month as management, in absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager.\n\nPosition Description - Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities\nOffer appropriate customer service.\nGreet all customers with a smile and hello.\nSuggest merchandise purchases to all customers.\nLearn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy.\nPrice, stock, and face merchandise. Stocking merchandise includes gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage areas.\nManage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to avoid any damage or spoilage. At times this may entail lifting a weight of 50lbs or more to accomplish certain stocking requirements.\nMaintain the store in accordance with maintenance policies and conform to any required Health Department rules and regulations.
