{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e466e2cdb19d463d924e65cf","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e466e2cdb19d463d924e65cf","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e466e2cdb19d463d924e65cf","title":"Construction Coordinator","description":"Move Forward with Volt!\n\nVolt is hiring immediately for a Construction Coordinator in San Antonio, Texas.\n\nAs a Construction Coordinator, you will:\n\nLead and coordinate daily construction activities for contractors and subcontractors.\nMonitor project safety, schedule, budget, and construction progress.\nPrepare daily field reports and provide status updates to stakeholders.\nReview and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and construction documents.\nCoordinate communication among owners, contractors, and A/E firms.\nConduct site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.\nFacilitate contractor meetings, track action items, and maintain project documentation.\nSupport commissioning, startup, punch-list completion, acceptance testing, and project closeout activities.\nCoordinate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and end-user training.\nAdminister construction contracts and implement solutions to mitigate schedule impacts and project risks.\n\nThis is a full-time opportunity.\n\nSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:\n\n5+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor or architectural/engineering (A/E) firm.\nExperience supporting automotive manufacturing facilities, including Assembly, Powertrain, or Unit Plants.\nStrong organizational, communication, scheduling, and cost-estimating skills.\nAbility to manage multiple contractors, stakeholders, and project priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of construction contracts, field operations, safety compliance, and project controls.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Primavera, Autodesk Build/Building Connected, and AutoCAD.\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred; or a Skilled Trades background with supervisory experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager.\n\nPayrate: $49.00 per hour DOE\n\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\n\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
