Maxar is looking for an energetic Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in the Westminster, CO office.\nThis person will join our Platform governance team to automate the management and the security of hundreds of cloud accounts. We enable Maxar to move very quickly by taking the heavy lifting out of cloud account creation and management. We create and deliver tools for the users of cloud accounts to self-service many functions as well as managing tools that enable the users to keep their accounts secure. This candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.\nWhat you will do day to day:\nDesign, build, test, and deploy management and security capabilities across our entire cloud footprint\nWork with the team to refactor existing processes and systems that need improvement\nWork with many customers to ensure that different requirements are considered while building flexible solutions.\nDesign and implement extensions to our governance frameworks as new cloud providers are on-boarded\nRegularly look at new cloud features and implement appropriate security controls\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field (may substitute 4 years professional experience)\nMust have 4+ years’ recent experience managing infrastructure in AWS\nMust have at least 2 years recent Python programming experience\nMust have 2 years’ recent experience with an infrastructure as code language such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.\nMust have 2+ years’ experience with CI/CD pipeline technologies such as AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Build, Jenkins, or GitHub\nMust have 8+ years experience in software engineering or related fields\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in an AWS ecosystem with several hundred AWS accounts\nExperience with AWS IAM, Lambda, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, and AWS Organizations\nExperience with web UI frameworks such as react.js\nExperience with GraphQL\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and governance in Azure\nExperience with AWS AppSync and AWS Amplify\nExperience with NIST 800-171 or similar frameworks\nExperience with managing/leveraging CSPM tools such as Wiz or similar.\nExperience with Vulnerability Management tools such as Wiz or similar.\nHolding an AWS certification\nLife with Us:\nThere is a reason we boast awards like Best Employer, Best Place to work, Top employer, candidate experience winner.
