{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e45461d02b098b68ee499bb2","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e45461d02b098b68ee499bb2","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e45461d02b098b68ee499bb2","title":"Structural Engineer Associate","description":"Description:\n\nPride Resource Partners, LLC, a Think Power Solutions Company, is looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Design Manager A/E Services\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPerforms moderately complex structural engineering work to include the preparation, analysis and review of design plans, specifications, estimates and reports to comply with guidelines set by both federal, state and local agencies.\nPerforms contract administration in the review of structural services required of engineering consultants and architects and make appropriate revisions and recommendations.\nPrepares structural design plans and specifications, quality assurance plans, conceptual and detailed cost estimates and other reports necessary for the construction, maintenance and operation of various concrete, structural steel, timber, masonry, metal, timber structures and other related materials.\nAssists in the review of project status, initiates changes and provides advice and assistance to structural designers and other engineering and design staff.\nAssists in the review of structural plans and specifications, design and mathematical calculations in the completion of structural engineering projects and assignments as well as creating cost and expenditure requirements for alternate means of construction.\nAssists in the review of completed structural work for conformance to recognized standards and feasibility of construction as well as completeness and accuracy.\nAssists in the design and layout of foundation, floor, wall and roof framing plans for major building structures.\nMakes recommendations to contractors, architects, engineers and construction inspectors on structural issues during construction.\nAnalyzes environmental impact reports, negative declarations and soils tests data to make appropriate recommendations for foundation design.\nPrepares feasibility reports and preliminary design for proposed structures and facilities under construction.\nPerform site investigations and prepare scoping reports and recommendations.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
