capability and understanding.\n\nCollaborate with business units to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for AI/ML applications that deliver measurable value.\n\nBuild, train, test, and optimize machine learning models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance in production environments.\n\nWork with cross‑functional teams to create and maintain data pipelines, infrastructure, and tools necessary to support AI/ML development and deployment.\n\nDevelop automation solutions using AI/ML techniques to improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual processes.\n\nResearch emerging AI/ML technologies and methodologies, evaluating their potential application to ACES operations.\n\nDocument AI/ML processes, models, and methodologies to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.\n\nImplement responsible AI practices including model validation, bias detection, explainability, and ethical considerations.\n\nMonitor deployed AI/ML solutions, track performance metrics, and implement improvements as needed.\n\nPartner with IT teams including Development, Infrastructure, and Security to ensure proper integration and deployment of AI/ML solutions.\n\nPresent findings, recommendations, and results to technical and non‑technical audiences in clear, understandable formats.\n\nEvaluate and recommend AI/ML platforms, tools, and services that align with organizational needs and capabilities.\n\nStay current with industry trends, research, and advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.\n\nFoster relationships with external AI/ML communities, academic institutions, and industry partners to enhance organizational knowledge.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on AI/ML concepts and implementation approaches.\n\nAdhere to and support all ACES corporate policies and comply with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to NERC, FERC, and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position.\n\nAny additional responsibilities assigned by management.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field required.\n\n1-3 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science or equivalent.\n\nProficiency in programming languages commonly used for AI/ML development such as Python, R, or similar.\n\nStrong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and data analysis techniques.\n\nExperience with data transformation and analysis tools including SQL, pandas, NumPy, or equivalent.\n\nAbility to design, build, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.\n\nKnowledge of data engineering concepts and experience working with large and complex datasets.\n\nUnderstanding of AI/ML best practices including model evaluation, validation, and optimization.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud computing platforms and their AI/ML services.\n\nStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.\n\nDemonstrated ability to develop and deliver training and educational content on technical topics.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a
