Whether in our stores, offices, or field operations, we empower employees to grow with us, contribute to our success, and make a positive impact in the communities we serve.\n\nJob Summary\nThe C-Store Manager is responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising team members and assistant manager(s).\n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nThis description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe all tasks that may be assigned.\n\nResponsible for the store including food service and car wash profits and all controllable expenses, including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.\n\nRecruit, train, coach, and develop positive individuals to become members of the team, ensuring excellent customer service.\n\nSchedule and manage labor hours to align with customer traffic patterns and SLM (Store Labor Model) targets.\n\nImplement and enforce established daily operating procedures through the Customer Ready Book to ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well‑kept.\n\nEnsure all product orders are placed accurately and on schedule to maintain proper in‑stock levels and meet customer demand.\n\nMonitor daily retail gasoline competitors, send price surveys, and complete daily paperwork promptly as established by management.\n\nMonitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive‑offs daily.\n\nAnalyze sales reports and KPIs to identify trends.\n\nImplement monthly promotions, ensure all advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time.\n\nEnforce and report all safety and security issues, including incidents.\n\nAdhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n\nHave the physical ability to perform all duties of a store C-Store Team Member regularly.\n\nUnderstanding of c‑store operations.\n\nGood leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nC‑Store and/or retail manager experience.\n\nValid driver’s license.\n\nWorking Environment and Physical Requirements\n\nMust be able to lift 50 pounds at times.\n\nTravel\n\nMust be able to travel up to 10%.\n\nAt‑Will Employment\nThis position is at‑will, which means that either the employee or the Company may terminate employment at any time, with or without advance notice, and with or without cause.\n\nEEO Statement\nRefuel is an equal opportunity employer to all applicants and team members.
