Senior Power BI DeveloperLocation: Remote (U.S. preferred)Experience Level: 5-7+ yearsCitizenship: U.S. Citizen/Green Card,no 3rd partiesAbout the RoleWe're seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that drive business insights and strategic decision-making. You'll work with data from Snowflake and other cloud sources, collaborating with data engineers and ETL teams to transform raw data into clear, impactful visualizations. This role involves direct stakeholder engagement to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions that align with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models that support business operations and meet stakeholder needsConnect to Snowflake and other cloud data sources, leveraging ETL pipeline outputs for optimized reportingDesign efficient data models optimized for performance, usability, and scalabilityGather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable reports and visualizationsCreate and optimize DAX calculations and Power Query (M) transformations for performanceCollaborate with data engineers and ETL developers to ensure accurate, high-quality, and accessible data sourcesSupport data governance, documentation, and reporting standardsManage workload independently and prioritize deliverables effectivelyWork within Agile environments using tools like Azure DevOps BoardsRequired Qualifications5-7+ years of hands-on experience as a Power BI DeveloperProven expertise in Power BI report generation, including DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI ServiceStrong understanding of data modeling and visualization best practicesProficient in SQL and experience working with cloud data sources such as SnowflakeExperience collaborating with ETL or data engineering teams (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Informatica)Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and translating business needs into dashboardsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related fieldAbility to work effectively during U.S. business hours (West Coast hours for certain roles)Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Power BI Expert Certification (or ability to achieve within 6 months)Experience with federal government reporting projectsBackground in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation analyticsExperience in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments using Azure DevOps BoardsFamiliarity with Snowflake performance tuning and best practicesKnowledge of other BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik, Looker)Experience working with KeboolaCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience level and qualificationsComprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, and retirement plan (401k)Paid time off and remote work flexibilityLong-term career growth opportunities
