This on-site leader guides officers, links staff and management, and helps coordinate schedules and resolve issues. This position is a Safety Sensitive Function under Company policy.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nMust have a BSIS Guard Card\nMinimum age 25 years\nAble to stand and walk for extended periods\nValid driver's license and approved MVR\nCustomer service experience and professional approach\nMust pass background check and drug screen\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\n\nConduct foot and vehicle patrols; identify and report safety concerns\nMonitor access points, verifying IDs and credentials\nMonitor CCTV, alarms, and electronic security systems\nRespond to alarms and incidents per protocol; coordinate with law enforcement when needed\nLead on-site incident response until management/law enforcement arrives\nMaintain accurate logs; review officer reports for accuracy\nWrite clear, timely incident reports; communicate by radio, phone, in person\nEnforce Post Instructions and Company/client policies (smoking, loitering, parking)\nMaintain professional appearance; ensure officers do the same\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n\nGuide and direct officers during the shift\nMonitor performance; provide coaching and feedback\nAssist with scheduling, shift coverage, and post assignments\nHelp train new officers on post orders and procedures\nServe as point of escalation for officer and client concerns\nCommunicate shift updates and staffing issues to management\n\nRequired Skills & AbilitiesMinimum:\n\nPerform well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments\nAvailable for weekend, holiday, and rotating shifts as scheduled\nStrong situational awareness and attention to detail\nSound judgment and de-escalation skills\nBasic computer/tablet skills for reporting\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrated ability to lead and direct others\n\nPreferred:\n\nPrior supervisory or lead experience in security, military, or law enforcement\n\nEducation & ExperienceMinimum:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience\n\nPreferred:\n\n3+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience\n3+ years verifiable Supervisory experience\n\nMinimum Physical Requirements\n\nStand at least 1 hour without break\nSit at least 1 hour without break\nWalk at least ½ mile without stopping\nClimb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping\n\nCalifornia Fair Chance Notice: Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with the California Fair Chance Act.\n\nNote: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
