Principal ResponsibilitiesDesign & DraftingInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and requirements for machines and componentsDevelop engineering drawings, plans, diagrams, and layouts from sketches and design conceptsOperate CAD and drafting workstations using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar softwareProduce complete drawing sets and documentation packagesQuality & InspectionPerform dimensional and visual inspections on machined componentsConduct in-process inspections on parts while still on the machineDetect, document, and control nonconforming productsOrganize and maintain accurate quality recordsAdditional DutiesSupport team motivation and foster a collaborative work environmentFollow all workplace policies and instructions, whether written or verbalPerform other duties as requiredRequirements:EducationDiploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related fieldTechnical SkillsProficiency xmcpwfu in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software)Competency in MS OfficeAbility to use measuring equipment including OD ring gauges, thread lead and profile gauges, calipers, micrometers, and height gaugesSoft SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamSelf-motivated with a positive contribution to team morale
