Quality Technician
Quality TechnicianThis entry level role supports a food manufacturing facility by performing visual quality inspections, pre-operation checks, and ongoing monitoring of packaging and product standards on the production lines.ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-operation inspections on production lines to verify the cleanliness of equipment and the surrounding area.Complete all required pre-operation documentation accurately and on time.Perform visual analysis of incoming, in-process, and finished products at the manufacturing site to identify defects or quality issues.Conduct metal detector checks according to established procedures and document results.Inspect packaging and labeling for accuracy, consistency, and quality issues.Perform daily on-line inspections, including packing accuracy checks and product quality verification.Carry out regular housekeeping checks to help maintain a clean and organized production environment.Conduct visual inspections such as color checks and other product appearance evaluations.Move throughout the plant to different areas to complete inspections and quality checks as needed.Essential SkillsHigh attention to detail for visual inspection of products, packaging, and equipment cleanliness.Willingness to learn quality standards and procedures with on-the-job training.Capability to walk and move around the plant frequently to perform inspections in different areas.The company offers a relaxed, family-oriented culture where you can learn on the job and grow your skills without needing prior quality experience. The position follows a 1st shift schedule, typically Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with half days on Fridays, depending on production needs.This is a Permanent position based out of Hernando, MS. The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr. will update with benefits. This is a fully onsite position in Hernando, MS. This position is anticipated to close on May 25, 2026.
