Our work depends on SCRUM Master joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.\r\nHOW A SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT The SCRUM Master is responsible for the following\r\nGuide scrum-team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team\r\nOrganize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events\r\nTrack and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management\r\nAssist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria\r\nUpdate agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs\r\nAssist with internal and external communication\r\nAssist product owners with backlog grooming\r\nAssist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition\r\nDetermine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the teams to deliver assigned goals\r\nFacilitate discussion and conflict resolution\r\nPromote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocity\r\nPromote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation\r\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience\r\nExperience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment\r\nStrong understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes\r\nAdvanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques\r\nStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills\r\nExperience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically JIRA and Confluence\r\nActive TS/SCI clearance required to start and must be able to obtain a CI Poly\r\n5+ years of experience\r\nAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\r\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $170-190k.
