Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Two contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available for professionals who thrive working independently and enjoy variety in their day. These roles focus primarily on elementary and middle school students, but you'll have the opportunity to serve a wide range of learners from PreK through 12th grade.Position Highlights:Full school year positions for the 2026-2027 academic year, with possible opportunities for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in 2025-2026.Manageable workload of 35 hours per week.Candidates have flexibility to choose schedules that align with the school day.All work is performed onsite, providing direct engagement and collaboration with staff and students.Desired Qualifications:Valid Michigan SLP license is required; please submit a screenshot of your current license status.Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred.Experience supporting students in educational settings, with the ability to independently manage assessment, therapy, documentation, and IEP processes.Strength in servicing a diverse range of ages and communication needs across PreK–12.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments according to student needs.Develop and implement individualized service plans.Deliver direct therapy services, group interventions, and consultative support for student success.Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and work collaboratively with school teams.Visualize your impact across a vibrant school community, supporting students' communication and academic achievement.
