Mental Health Technician - Full Time ($2,500 Sign on Bonus)

Mental Health Technician Opportunity River Park Hospital is hiring for full time and Per Diem Mental Health Technicians (MHTs). The full-time position offers 40 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package. This position offers a $2,500 sign on bonus! The sign on bonus is paid out in the following increments: $500 at 3 months, $1000 at 6 months, $1000 at 12 months. River Park Hospital is a 165-bed facility and a leader in behavioral health care, located in Huntington, WV. River Park provides acute inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors and features a 22-bed residential treatment program for children and adolescents and a 25-bed adult forensic unit. Qualifications Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum. Assure and improve quality care by facilitating the patient and family's right to receive safe, quality, and cost-effective care. Maintain and protect confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care and information. Demonstrate a commitment to meeting the learning needs of patients by utilizing appropriate resources to meet those needs and achieve positive patient outcomes. Conduct patient rounds related to routine and heightened observation status. Interact in a therapeutic manner to decrease crisis within the patient care setting. Demonstrate respect and understanding for patients, peers and other clinical disciplines and participates as an effective member of the patient care team. Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent. Six months experience in a mental health setting preferred.
