If you’re seeking a career where you can make a difference while being part of a supportive and mission-driven team, we invite you to join us.Membership Development Specialist The Florida Sheriffs Risk Management Fund (FSRMF) is seeking a motivated, service-oriented professional to join our team as a Membership Development Specialist supporting our Property & Casualty (P&C) Risk Pool Insurance programs.In this role, you will lead the coordination and development of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quote requests, and prospect proposals. You will gather and analyze insurance and exposure data, applying approved rating methodologies to develop accurate and competitive quotes. Your work will directly support our mission by helping prospective members understand the value and strength of FSRMF’s programs.You will collaborate closely with our Creative Services and Automation teams to produce clear, professional, and timely proposal materials that reflect our commitment to quality and service. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.This position reports directly to the Chief of Member Services.If you are detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality solutions in a service-driven environment, we encourage you to apply.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Account Executive/Relationship Manager and Chief of Member Services, oversee intake and prioritization of RFPs/quote requests; establishing timelines and deliverables.Collect, validate, and analyze loss data, exposures, and coverage information from prospects; ensure data integrity.Utilize automated systems to enter data, rate exposures, produce quotes and verify quote accuracy.Create comparisons of current prospect coverages and FSRMF coverages being quoted for review by Chief of Member Services and Account Executive/Relationship Manager and for presentation to prospects.Partner with Creative Services team to prepare high‑quality proposals and PowerPoint materials for Account Executive/Relationship Management presentations.Conduct onboarding procedures for new members, including but not limited to, producing coverage agreements, invoicing contributions, and collecting relevant documentation.Maintain documentation within automated systems; ensure auditability and accuracy.Partner with the Automation team to create templates for gathering data.Backup Member Services team relative to account management for current FSRMF members.Assist with other duties as assigned or requested.Qualifications5+ years insurance industry experience as an account manager, underwriter or insurance analystSkilled in marketing efforts, managing RFP timelines and proposal submissionsValid Florida 2-20 General Lines Agent licenseProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with underwriting concepts and loss analysisExperience in analyzing insurance coveragesStrong attention to detailAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize projectsDependable and deadline drivenValid driver’s license and ability to travel as requiredPreferencesBachelor’s degreeExperience working with public sector entities, risk pools, or governmental organizations Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, CIC, or similar insurance/risk management certifications OtherThis is an on-site position located in Tallahassee, FL; remote work is not available.
