At Bata Plastics, environmental consciousness and innovation drive everything we do.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a CDLA Truck Driver based in Grand Rapids, MI. The CDLA Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport materials between facilities, vendors, and customers. Daily tasks include conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, maintaining logs of vehicle inspections and driving times, and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.QualificationsMust hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record, 3 years minimumExperience in operating commercial trucks and familiarity with DOT rules and regulations.Proficient in vehicle inspection, reporting, and handling required documentation.Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members and customers.Capable of following safety procedures for vehicle operations and loading/unloading materials.Physical ability to handle labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and moving materials as needed.Experience in logistics or recycling industries is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
