Instrumentation and Electrical Technician I

Assists qualified personnel in performing technical maintenance and repair of both Electrical and Instrumentation and control equipment, in support of Prince William Waters maintenance programs. The work involves maintaining and repairing a variety of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment, appliances, and devices using specialized test equipment and instruments. Demonstrates a commitment and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. This has been identified as a Career Path position. Persons hired into Prince William Water must meet contingencies within the period established in the Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Career Path policy. The Instrumentation and Electrical Technician I position has a mandatory requirement of advancement to an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician II position within five years of the date of employment for all employees.
