Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.\nJob Description The Digital Content Creator develops creative content across a wide range of mediums, suggests new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and leverages social media platforms and tools to deliver engaging content to views. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties.\nResponsibilities Create compelling, UX-focused content related to news, events, and topics relevant to local users and beyond, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming content, breaking news, and social media elements.\nEngage and build loyalty among communities.\nServe as liaison to newsroom, ensuring digital and social dominance.\nReach and engage users on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.\nUse social listening and analytics tools like Crowd Tangle, Google Analytics, Chartbeat, and Share Rocket to make informed editorial decisions.\nWork with the FOX TV Stations' Group Content Team and other FTS markets to distribute high-interest stories at scale.\nAdhere to set group standards.\nMonitor real-time analytics.\nDemonstrate responsibility for all equipment issued by FOX.\nComply with all FOX Corporate computer requirements.\nComply with all FOX Corporate and station policies.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Skills and Abilities Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nProficiency with content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong social media skills.\nCompelling writing, storytelling, and copy-editing skills.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently under daily pressure and successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.\nEducation and Experience Minimum three (3) years’ experience developing and publishing content, including news, on digital and social platforms preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications, or related field with emphasis on digital publishing preferred.\nVideo and photo editing experience preferred.\nPhysical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.\nRegularly stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.\nOccasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nRegularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.\nVision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.\n#LI-AP2\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
