In this role you will be responsible to develop proposals and assesses customer needs in order to recommend appropriate products/services. You will provide technical support to clients after the sale of the product, troubleshoots technical problems.\nWhat Will You Do?\n\nReview and analyze customer requirements for application of products and recommend a suitable product selection\nActs as liaison between engineering and sales representatives regarding specific product applications, product design improvements and possible product development ideas\nProvides technical assistance, information, support and guidance to customers and sales representatives to maximize sales volume and earnings, market penetration of products and effective relationships with customers.\nProvides input for proposal, data packages, and product and parts pricing proposals.\nEnsures proposals are consistent with quotes and review for accuracy and edit for correct spare parts and data listed\nMaintain the required level of proficiency in application engineering skills, plus the use of Application Engineering tools\nEngages with all businesses and functions to promote and sustain a continuous improvement culture within the organization.\nRepresents the Company with customers and business partners.\nContinually gather critical site information about Howden installed base, collecting it for the CRM system and using it to prospect for additional opportunities.\nPrepare all required documents for Handover meetings in accordance with, and in support of MS Dynamics AX.\nYour Experience Should Be...\n\nBS in Engineering or another related field.\nA minimum of 2 years applicable experience including selection and costing, preferably with rotating equipment or nuclear projects\nAbility to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nCustomer focus while being able to keep Howden and the customer’s interests in balance during disputes.\nLogical problem solving skills, outstanding organizational skills and dedication to quality and integrity.\nDecision making skills including knowledge of varying decision making styles and appropriateness of each.\nThe ability to interact with diverse global cultures and demonstrate effective communication skills with associates, suppliers and customers in a variety of business functions.\nThe positive attitude, ethics, and values necessary to support the company's mission and a high performance culture\nDrive, style and intellect required to make an immediate contribution as well as growing with the organization and role\nCan negotiate skillfully, both internally and externally.
