We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. The person in this role will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech, you will be responsible for:\nFollowing batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks\nUnderstanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials\nMonitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed\nFollowing procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates\nFollowing procedures to filter, package and label inks\nMaking QC adjustments as instructed\nWeighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink\nOperating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink\nPackaging the finished product\nOperating a forklift\n\nQualifications\n\nTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:\nHave a high school diploma or GED equivalent\nHave previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months\nHave forklift experience\nBe able to lift up to 50 lbs\nHave basic math, communications and mechanical skills\nBe capable of managing multiple tasks\nDemonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs\nIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:\nUnderstanding of 5S workplace\nKnowledge of TPM\nAbility to work 10-hour shifts\nAbility to work overtime and on weekends\n\nAdditional Information\n\nWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
