This role works under the guidance of senior architects to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and efficient. The Intermediate Architect collaborates with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, optimize cloud resources, and help establish best practices for cloud adoption.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\r\nAssist in designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures that meet business and technical requirements.\r\nContribute to system architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and reference models.\r\nSupport microservices, API-driven design, and integration across applications and platforms.\r\nHelp deploy, configure, and manage services across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).\r\nSupport cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.\r\nImplement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.\r\nWork closely with developers, DevOps, and security engineers to ensure architectural alignment.\r\nParticipate in Agile/DevSecOps teams to deliver software in secure and scalable environments.\r\nProvide technical input during sprint planning, design sessions, and code reviews.\r\nProficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).\r\nFamiliarity with cloud-native services (serverless, storage, networking, databases).\r\nKnowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\r\nExperience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.\r\nBasic understanding of cloud security concepts, IAM, and compliance requirements.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nDoD 8140 Certification\r\nDesired Qualifications\r\nMaster's preferred.\r\nAbout PingWind\r\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
