Sr. IT Asset Management Specialist (Hardware & Software)

About the RoleWe are seeking a Mid Level IT Asset Management Specialist to support hardware and software asset tracking within a federal IT environment supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).In this role, you will help manage IT inventory, coordinate equipment deployment, track software licenses, and support the lifecycle management of Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE). This position works closely with IT teams, vendors, and government stakeholders to ensure assets are properly tracked, deployed, and maintained.This position is a Hardware Asset Manager - position that is required to be onsite every day. Unfortunately remote/hybrid work is not available for this position.At least 5 years of related experience managing IT assets to include, delivery and staging, asset tracking, asset deployment, license management, and asset disposal.Must possess a Bachelor’s degree. Degree may be substituted with 6 additional years of related experience.Performs day-to-day activities required to manage and maintain the accuracy of assets, such as receiving, storing, distributing, shipping, inventorying, and accounting for all accountable and capitalized OIT hardware and software assets (including OIT accessories and peripheralsKey ResponsibilitiesAt least 5 years of related experience managing IT assets to include, delivery and staging, asset tracking, asset deployment, license management, and asset disposal. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree.
