Description ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for aCloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer requiring aPublic Trust. The position is 100% remote.Preference will be given to candidates within a drivable distance to Newport, OR and Silver Springs, MD. Travel up to 20% per year is expected.The Cloud / DevOps Engineer will design, deploy, and optimize Azure-based data environments supporting NOAA's Marine Operations. This role is critical for implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, and ensuring secure, automated data workflows across shipboard and cloud platforms.Duties and Responsibilities:Install and configure Azure cloud applications and servicesLead migration of SAMMS resources between Azure subscriptionsDeploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines for production workflowsDevelop cloud dashboards and performance monitoring toolsSupport multi-cloud interoperability with external CSPsImplement RBAC and collaborate with OCIO for cloud security governanceMonitor health and usage of Azure resourcesTroubleshoot deployment issues and update workflowsBasic Qualifications (Required):5 years of experience in Azure Cloud operations and DevOps pipelinesStrong experience with Azure Storage, Compute, Virtual Machines, and RBACProficiency with Python/Bash and automation tools (GitHub, GitLab, Azure CLI)Experience with Azure Monitor and Application InsightsStrong documentation and DevOps lifecycle management skillsEffective communication skills for diverse stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certificationLinux certificationsActioNetis a CMMI-DEV Level 4, CMMI-SVC Level 4, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, HDI-certified, woman-owned IT Solutions Provider with strong qualifications and expertise in Agile Software Engineering, Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, and IT Managed Services.
