This role leads a team of security officers, monitors security systems, and serves as the primary point of contact for handling security issues or emergencies.\n\nThe Shift Supervisor is responsible for enforcing all policies and procedures, providing comprehensive training and mentorship to staff, and coordinating with other departments and external agencies as necessary. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to make sound judgments while remaining composed under pressure.\n\nCORE OBJECTIVES\n\nOperational Leadership: Supervise and direct security staff to ensure high performance and adherence to all site protocols.\n\nSafety & Surveillance: Monitor the site continuously to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.\n\nIncident Command: Act as the lead during the initial stages of an incident, providing clear guidance and committing resources effectively.\n\nProfessional Development: Train and mentor security staff to ensure a \"best-in-class\" guard force through constant evaluation.\n\nCustomer Obsession: Ensure that security services are delivered with a focus on professionalism and the client's standards.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSecurity Operations & Team Leadership\n\nPost Inspections & Uniform Checks: Conduct regular post inspections and verify that all staff meet uniform and grooming standards.\n\nOversight & Relief: Manage officer areas to prevent congregating and coordinate meal and break relief schedules to ensure constant post coverage.\n\nStaff Evaluation: Conduct Annual Officer Evaluations and provide ongoing \"7 & 7\" feedback sessions to staff.\n\nRadio & Tech Upkeep: Oversee Radio upkeep and ensure security laptops are current with ACME updates.\n\nPerformance Management: Issue Corrective Actions (ROC, 1st, 2nd) and conduct daily SIM-T communications audits.\n\nIncident Response & Emergency Management\n\nEmergency Response: Respond to all emergencies and incidents per site Emergency Response Plans (ERP).\n\nReporting: Review and revise Zinc reports to ensure accuracy and detail for client review.\n\nCall-Off Management: Manage call-offs via the dedicated landline and secure coverage for vacancies when the Site Supervisor is not working.\n\nEscalation: Detect, deter, and report criminal or unusual activity immediately using site-approved nomenclature.\n\nSite Logistics & Support\n\nPatrol Oversight: Manage and verify Tracktik Patrols to ensure 100% facility coverage.\n\nParking Management: Review Executive Parking and manage Overnight Parking logs and compliance.\n\nAuditing: Perform weekly SIM-T badge access and escorting audits to maintain system integrity.\n\nEvent Support: Provide essential support for Special Events, coordinating with the Lead Operations Manager (LOM) as required.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\nLeadership & Experience\n\n2-3 years of experience managing a security team; prior supervision of large-scale studio accounts preferred.\n\nProven ability to lead a team in complex problem-solving and emergency response.\n\nStrong interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.\n\nExcellent communication and professional writing skills for revising and auditing reports.\n\nCredentials & Education\n\nActive BSIS California Guard Card.\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required;
