This position is responsible for ensuring a high level of compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory guidance. The Operations Lead or Supervisor assigned to swing shift will direct the daily workflow of the department, assign tasks to Operations team members, and ensure projects are completed to GMP standards and specifications of SOP with a focus on suite cleaning and material dispensing. Operations Lead or Supervisor is responsible for independent problem solving and expressing good judgement in decision making and knowing when it is appropriate to escalate concerns.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nOversee small production team and daily shift activities\nFollow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs)\nWrite and review standard operating procedures\nWeighs, measures, subdivides, and disposes of components\nSafely handle hazardous materials\nParticipate in audits or inspections\nInspects and maintains equipment\nDraft, review, and approve quality records as technical approver\nSubject matter expert for operations\nConduct and attend training activities\nCompletes documentation, including logbooks and batch production and control records\nWorks closely and communicates effectively with operations team\nResponsibilities may increase in scope to align with company initiatives\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nRequired Skills and Abilities\nMechanical aptitude\nIntermediate math skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong organization skills and attention to detail\nCommunicates effectively and maintains productive relationships with coworkers, clients, and other contacts outside of the company\nAccepts feedback from a variety of sources and constructively manages conflict\nProficient math and problem-solving skills\nStrong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines\nAbility to prioritize and ask for assistance to delegate tasks when appropriate\nAbility to focus in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nDemonstrates history of leadership abilities\nProficient in Oral Solid Dosage and Spray Dry equipment and GMP processing\nRequires a minimum of 2 year of GMP experience\nPreference will be given to internal candidates\nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods of sitting or standing while monitoring equipment\nMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 55 pounds occasionally\nRequire ability to work swing shift with the possibility of 12-hour shifts\nMust be able to wear a Tyvek suit with PAPR for extended periods of time\nExposure to constant low-level equipment noise, and occasional high-level alarms\nWork near heat generating equipment\nMust be able to operate a forklift, training provided\nMove up and down ladders, kneel, squat and lift from the floor\nMove mop above head while cleaning room surfaces\nAdheres to consistent and predictable in-person attendance\nDeadline to apply is Friday, January 9, 2026\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
