This position is onsite in Jefferson, AR. Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nMonitor and maintain a production environment which includes routers, switches, load balancers, remote VPN, proxies, DNS, DHCP, NTP and IPAM\nAdministers network management tools to include configuration, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and management of system baselines.\nSolid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure.\nPlan and execute Network/Security changes and ensure performance and security are maintained.\nInstalls, configures, services, repairs, and maintains hardware and software for network services, storage and network devices, and server systems.\nImplements required hardware upgrades and repairs inoperative devices to maintain mission capability.\nInstall, terminate, reroute, and test copper and fiber optic cabling associated with offsite locations. Coordinate material and tool supply requirements for all cable and equipment rack installation projects.\nCompletes all required installation documentation and will be knowledgeable in network cable installation techniques and labeling schemes.\nDynamic and fast-paced work environment, requiring effective interactions and communications.\nMaintain network communication closets and equipment racks to include cabling and elevation drawings.\nMust be able to define cable plant expansion paths and routing of cable according to client standards.\nMake recommendation to engineering for improvements.\nWork with vendors to resolve issues and platform upgrades.\nEscalation support is required and mandatory.\nCertifying solutions prior to deploying it into production environments.\nWork with engineering to understand changes and provide input as required.\nOn-call rotation required.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma.\n3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise network environment.\nInstalling, cabling and configuration of network equipment. Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, IS-IS)\nKnowledge of MPLS, Layer2 VPN, Layer3 VPN\nSecurity Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management) LAN/WAN/MAN internetworking technology\nPolicy and Procedure review and implementation\nNetworking and Application Protocols\nNetwork monitoring via SNMP, NetFlow\nExperience with the installation, configuration, integration and management of routers, switches, load balancers, proxies, etc.\nMust have knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of IP and core IP technologies\nStrong communication and presentation skills\nExcellent technical writing and documentation skills\nMust be willing to go on site 5 days a week.\nMust be US Citizen\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nActive CCNA\nAWS Cloud Practitioner\n\nSCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range\n\nDetails\n\nTarget Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
