This is a high-impact role at the\nintersection of data science, operational expertise, and emerging AI.\nCORE REQUIREMENTS\nThis candidate will have Dashboard & BI Tooling. Being Fluent in\nTableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent. They will be able to model data\nand present it for both technical and executive audiences.\nThey will have Complex Data Fluency. Being very comfortable\nwrangling large, noisy datasets - EDI records, tracking logs, port data,\nweather overlays, and multi-model feeds.\nThey will do Predictive Modeling. Having proven experience building\nML models from messy. High-dimensional datasets (time series, sensor\ndata, ETA prediction, etc.).\nThey will be well versed in AI & Machine Learning. Having Hands-On\nexperience with LLM's, NLP, computer vision, or operations research\napplied to real-world logistics problems.\nThis candidate must also be excellent in Collaboration &\nCommunication. They can translate model outputs into business\ndecisions. They will also possess strong documentation habits and\ncross-functional alignment skills.\nWHAT YOU'LL WORK ON\nRoute optimization and transit time prediction models · Anomaly\ndetection in shipment and carrier data · Real-time operational\ndashboards for fleet and port performance · AI-assisted demand\nforecasting for freight capacity planning · Cross-team data\ninfrastructure and model deployment support.\nREQUIREMENTS\n6+ Years in shipping, freight, logistics, or supply chain,\nUnderstand how cargo and data both move.\nNICE TO HAVES\nPython, R, or SQL - scripting and querying at production scale.\nSoftware Development Principles: version control (Git), CI/CD, API\nintegration. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) or cloud\nplatform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
