You will be expected to work in the office at least two days per week\r\nClient Location : 101 NORTH FIRST AVENUE SUITE 2600, Phoenix, AZ 85003 United States\r\nWork Hours : 09:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST\r\nDuration : 12 month contract with a possibility of extension\r\nOverview Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities\r\nProficient in the development of 3D structural models based on verbal instructions or rough sketches\r\nProduce complete sets of structural plans and details\r\nApply department and client standards consistently across models and documents\r\nTake full ownership of assigned scope and meet schedule and quality requirements\r\nHighly proficient in verifying completeness and accuracy of own work\r\nCoordinate design efforts with related disciplines\r\nSupport team members by addressing needs\r\nAdvance design automation skills and embrace emerging technologies\r\nReview models and documents for quality and compliance\r\nAbility to lead small design teams: Provide leadership for small packages and guide a small team of designers\r\nCoordinate team tasks, balance workloads, monitor progress to ensure deadlines are obtained, and ensure quality standards including clash adjudicated design\r\nTake ownership of internal reviews and lead cross-discipline and external package reviews\r\nAttend meetings and actively help resolve concerns and solve problemsContribute to a collaborative team environment and uphold a Culture of Care\r\nWorking Conditions Hybrid –\r\n• This position is considered hybrid and requires you to live within 50 miles of a client office: Phoenix, AZ. Relocation assistance may be provided, as applicable.\r\n• You are expected to provide reliable internet service at home to meet project performance requirements effectively.\r\n• While field walks are uncommon, you must be able to perform them when required. This may involve climbing ladders, crawling under raised access floors, or walking and standing for extended periods.\r\nMinimum Qualifications Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent\r\nMinimum of 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field\r\nMinimum of 3 years Revit experience\r\nStrong interpersonal leadership skills and communication skills\r\nPreferred Qualifications 7 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field\r\n5 years of Revit experience\r\nExperience with SmartPlant and Tekla\r\nExperience using Navisworks and Bluebeam\r\nExperience designing traditional steel and concrete structures\r\nExperience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-related\r\nResponsibilities As a Career Level Structural Designer, you will continue to apply your expertise as a key contributor to the design team, responsible for developing design concepts and producing 2D and 3D deliverables.\r\nAs part of this team;\r\nYou will be responsible for developing conceptual and detailed structural models that support advanced technology manufacturing environments, including semiconductor fabrication and support facilities.\r\nYou will be responsible for translating engineering input into construction-ready documentation that aligns with both departmental and client standards.\r\nYou’ll apply a high level of precision in your modeling and documentation, regularly reviewing your own work and that of others to uphold quality.\r\nYou are expected to guide a small team, manage task assignments, monitor progress, and lead coordination efforts across disciplines to ensure successful delivery of design packages.\r\nYou will be held accountable for delivering accurate, complete, and high-quality work on schedule, with strong attention to detail throughout the design process.\r\nYou will be given as much responsibility as you are willing to take, and your opportunities for career growth will be limited only by your own motivation, capabilities, and attitude.\r\nAbout our Company\r\nDataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
