A typical analyst/developer is responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.\nJob Responsibilities:\n· Basic design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media.\n· Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.\n· Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems.\nSkills:\n· Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.\n· Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.\n· Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.\n· Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.\n· Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc.\nEducation/Experience:\n· Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.\n· 2-4 years experience required.\nPosition’s Contributions to Work Group:\nThe candidate will work within a security team that develops a portal aligned to managing the lifecycle of network connections. The main connection type within this system is firewall rules and the yearly validation workflows aligned to their lifecycle maintenance.\nTypical task breakdown:\n· Work with the existing automation team to build, extend, and modify reporting pages related to:\n· Firewalls / IPS\n· Proxy\n· Cloud environments\n· Ticketing\n· Passive Monitoring\n· NAC\n· Write code that interacts with databases for CRUD operations.\n· Build out REST API endpoints for customers to query.\n· Create documentation pages.\n· Design and construct integrations with other products and endpoints to pull back data.\n· Provide operational support for globally deployed web application solutions.\n· Work with customers to understand deployed solutions and assist with using said products.\n· Attend regularly scheduled stand-up meetings.\n· Interaction with team:\n· Working with a team of about 4 people. Working with end users.\nWork environment:\n· Daily stand ups.\n· Resource will need to go onsite at a minimum of 3x a week. Preferred is East Peoria, IL location.
