Paralegal
The Paralegal is responsible for supporting attorneys with case management, legal document preparation, docketing, and administrative legal functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring matters are handled efficiently, deadlines are met, and legal documentation is prepared accurately. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote law firm environment.Salary: Open budget based on relevant experienceAvailability required to work US Time Zones (EST, PST, CST etc)Legal SupportDraft legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other filings using established templates and attorney instructions.Review documents for completeness, accuracy, formatting, and compliance with firm standards.Assist attorneys with preparing case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation.Conduct basic legal and factual research as assigned.Case Management & DocketingTrack case progress and maintain accurate case records within the firm's case management system.Monitor court deadlines, filing dates, hearings, and other important milestones.Maintain attorney calendars and ensure timely reminders for upcoming deadlines and appointments.Coordinate document collection and organization for active matters.Administrative SupportManage electronic files and maintain organized digital records.Prepare status reports and case summaries for attorneys.Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties as directed.Assist with intake, document requests, and routine follow-up activities.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support role.Experience drafting legal documents using templates and attorneyguidance.Experience with case management systems, docketing, and deadline tracking.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.Advanced written and spoken English.
