The Institutional Advisor role is responsible for building and servicing a practice of institutional clients including investment committees, nonprofit boards and executives, qualified plan sponsors, fiduciaries, key executives in nonqualified plans and plan participants – to include endowments, foundations, institutional asset pools, 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, and nonqualified plans. For defined contribution clients, we seek the “mid-market” which we define as plans of $25 to $500 million in assets. For endowment & foundation clients, we seek assets in the range of $5 million to $250 million.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and close new client relationships (at least $150,000 in new contracted revenue per year)\nDeliver sales presentations and finals to individuals and committees\nSet prospect meetings; a minimum of three per week\nCross-sell additive CAPTRUST services to existing clients (e.g. discretionary services)\nDevelop relationships with COIs and other referral sources\nProvide fiduciary advice to existing client relationships\nConduct and document quarterly portfolio and plan reviews\nProvide education and advice programs for plan participants\nProvide fiduciary and governance support to investment committees and boards\nTravel is required\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree required; major in Business Administration, Marketing or Finance preferred\n5 years of direct selling experience in the financial service industry\nDesired Qualifications/Skills:\nExceptional oral and written communications skills\nHigh standard of professionalism\nLooking to develop a long-term career in the investment/financial services industry\nAble to work independently\nSecurities licenses series 65, 66, 7\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel\nClient Relationship Management (CRM) software experience\nWHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?\n\nOur colleagues, like our clients, tend to stay with CAPTRUST for years.
