Your mission is to mitigate spillage by auditing the lifecycle of every unit from purchase order to the moment it hits the dock to the moment it leaves on a truck.\n\nKey Responsibilities (The \"Must-Haves\")\n\nThe \"Gatekeeper\" Audit: Enforce a strict 3‑way match (PO vs. Packing Slip vs. Physical Count) at the dock. You are the final authority on what we pay for.\n\nProduction & Kitting Control: Critical. Manage the \"grey area\" of inventory (Work In Progress). Track units pulled for a build, ensure they are consumed correctly in the system, and reconcile the leftover raw materials immediately.\n\nWMS Transition Support: Act as the \"Data Cleaner\" for our upcoming WMS migration. Identify bad data patterns in our current custom system and ensure migration of clean, accurate counts to the new software. Must have experience with processes in Excel or Google Sheets.\n\nRoot Cause \"Forensics\": Find out why counts were wrong instead of just adjusting them. Determine issues such as receiver error, theft, scanning glitch, or other causes and fix the process so it doesn’t happen again.\n\nHigh‑Stakes Cycle Counting: Execute daily cycle counts and audits in favor of continuous, weekly accuracy to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n7+ Years in Inventory Control: Must have worked in a facility that does Assembly/Kitting, not just pick‑and‑pack. Experience with FTL and LTL mixed pallets and similar products.\n\nWMS Adaptability: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems including tier 1 systems such as Netsuite, SAP, and systems built on Excel/Sheets and custom/proprietary legacy systems. Comfortable navigating imperfect software during upgrades.\n\n\"Floor First\" Mentality: A role that requires physically inspecting pallets, climbing ladders, and opening boxes to verify counts.\n\nExcel/Google Sheets Proficiency: Ability to export raw data from a custom WMS and use VLOOKUPs/Pivots to find system discrepancies.\n\nSoft Skills\n\nConflict Resolution: Ability to assertively communicate with Warehouse Managers or Receivers that processes are incorrect.\n\nProcess Architect: Spot and rewrite broken SOPs rather than just following them.\n\nUncompromising Integrity: Commitment to accuracy over operational speed or pressure.\n\nClear Communication: Ability to explain complex inventory discrepancies to executive leadership and floor staff.\n\nProblem‑Solving Autonomy: Operate with minimal supervision, identifying and fixing problems before they are reported.\n\nThe following questions are entirely optional.
